Become a GYROTONIC® and/or GYROKINESIS® Trainer!
Teacher Training Process:

Here's an outline of the teacher training process.​

It can be a bit confusing as you're getting started, so feel free to reach out with questions. 

(Below you'll see the base fees listed for the required courses. Most studios add a "studio fee"" on top of that to cover expenses of hosting the course.

I have the luxury of not needing to charge a studio fee at GYROTONIC® Ann Arbor,

and so I only charge the base fee.

GYROTONIC® Training 

Private Lessons:Take some private lessons and become familiar with the GYROTONIC® techniques. 

GYROTONIC® Pre-Training Course

Duration: 6 days (taken either consecutively or in two 3-day segments)

Goal: Learn movement material for your own body and understanding

Base price : $1050

GYROTONIC® Foundation Course

Duration: 12 days (must begin within 3 months of Pre-Training completion)

Goals:

Apply and develop the teaching skills learned in the Foundation course.

Gain experience working with different bodies in real life teaching situations.

Base price: $2100

Apprentice Teaching

60 hours in total. These hours can be taught anywhere (live, in-person)

Goals: Put into practice the information learned in Pre-Training and Foundation Courses and gain client experience.

Apprentice teachers can also charge for their sessions,

allowing them to earn a little cash while working through the program

Supervised Apprentice Hours Course

Duration: 6 days (consecutive or two 3-day segments)

Goals:

Progress assessment by a Master Trainer

Deepening understanding of the GYROTONIC® system.

Addressing issues and questions that may have come up with clients during apprentice teaching.

Base price: $1050

Complete Apprentice Training Hours

Certification Course

Duration: 3 days

Base price: $525 (+a studio fee, charged by the host studio)

This course is offered at limited locations and will most likely require travel.

GYROKINESIS® Training

Private Lessons or Group Classes

​Take some private lessons or group classes and become familiar with the GYROKINESIS® techniques.

GYROKINESIS® Pre-Training course

Duration: 6 days (taken either consecutively or in two 3-day segments)

Goal: Familiarize students with basic course material.

Base price : $1050

GYROKINESIS® Foundation Course

Duration: 9 days (must begin within 3 months of Pre-Training completion)

Goals: Learn GYROKINESIS® teaching applications and build on material learned in Pre-Training.

​Base price: $1575

Apprentice Teaching

Duration: 30 hours

Goals: Apply and develop the teaching skills learned in the Foundation course and gain experience working with different bodies in real life teaching situations.

Apprentice teachers can also charge for their sessions,

allowing them to earn a little cash while working through the program.

Duration: 3 days​

Goals: Addressing issues and questions that may have come up with clients during apprentice teaching.

Deepening understanding of the GYROKINESIS® method

Progress assessment by a Master Trainer.

Base price: $525
